LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 2011

photo above: dazed digital
So yesterday was my first day on London Fashion Week. I started the day with being a part of amazing Sally Branka's team, we did the Emilio de la Morena show. It was a really fresh faced and high lighted cheekbones, nose and upper lip. Prepared the skin with Aveda face oil, a product I never used before but that was amazing! Felt really silky. It was a great start of the day!

Second show was House of Holland with Lucia Pica, really enjoy working with her as well! Its my third season helping her and it is always great fun. The House of Holland was full on with lots of photographers snapping away backstage. The collection had a lot of 70's references and the make up was fresh faced with a blusher in the shape of a sun tan coming over nose and down the cheeks. Used the new eyebrow pencils from MAC to shape a perfect eyebrow. Amazing glitter nails by Sophy Robson.

All photos except first by ME.

LONDON FASHION WEEK SS 2010

I haven't had time to put up the rest of what I worked on the London fashion week, but here it comes...

TUESDAY

Roksanda Illincic

Once again working on the Lucia Pica team, we did this amazing make up, really like it. It was conceal eyebrows, with a very blended eye in earthy colors and a pale lip. One of my favorite make up's for the week. Really enjoyed working with his look.

Nasir Mazhar

On this crazy hat maker presentation I was on Ayami Nishimura's team. It was only 8 female models with individual look. This is one of them.

MONDAY

OMG it was such a stressful day..three shows in a day is way to much. I will not be doing that
again.
Mario Schwab

Petros Petrohilos did this show. The make up we did for this show was gorgeous purple and shimmery. Amazing hair.

Christopher Kane

Amazing Lucia Perioni did this show. She is so amazing!! As previous seasons at the Christopher Kane it was mega natural, only covered
spots and used a sand/brownish color on the eyes. Beautiful.

House of Holland

After Christopher Kane I had to run to the House of Holland show, and there I worked on Lucia Pica's team. The look we did was shinny skin, glossy eyelid, bushy eyebrows and a lip (coral or a purple).

SUNDAY

Quasimi

I was assisting Ayami Nishimura on this show, she is great, so calm and the make up looked fantastic with golden eye shadow.

Julien Macdonald

Working on Charlotte Tilbury's team is always a bit stressful. On this show we where working on to make the models look healthy tanned with shimmery skin.

Conclusion of the make up from the London Fashion Week must be shimmer. There was a lot of shimmery eyeshadows (gold and purple) and also shimmer/gloss on the skin. It also seems like there will be a lot of bronzer and tanned skin next spring/summer.
